Pictured
above is a custom repousse copper wall-mounted plaque, with raised detail. Colour
was achieved through gun bluing, enamel paint & gold leaf. The focus here
was on raising elements "beyond the canvas" and creating ornate pattern
through ballpeaning and linear punches. The design is based on the painting JUDITH
II by Gustav Klimt, and was conceived as a triptych, which remains in progress. |
