Pictured above is a custom repousse copper weathervane design featuring a swan. This is a traditional swell-bodied design, which is the common construction technique employed by the majority of modern weathervane makers. The swan, when view straight on, is roughly 3 inches wide and is only constucted from two sheets of copper. The arrow has gilt detail, and the cardinal letters have more elaborate curved arms, to off-set the right angle of the arrow.
