Mr. Toad holds aloft a champagne glass in celebration & cheerful defiance of the wind. With his coat tails flying, he is a wonderful and intricate example of repousse coppersmithing. A combination of Jeremy Fisher and Toad of Toad Hall, this whimsical character is one of Greens most covetted designs. Referred to as "stout Toad" or "Windsor Toad" (as an example of him resides within the grounds of Windsor Castle), he is signed, dated and numbered (#4).

In earlier editions of Toad, clients have chosen gold leaf to highlight and personalize details, particularly on the label of the champagne bottle (left blank). Other areas which might benefit from gilding are the champagne glass, the shoe buckles, the waistcoat, shirt buttons & bow tie, as well as the arrow and cardinal letters (N, E, S & W).
