Two Blackbirds Weathervane

Pictured above is a custom repousse copper weathervane of two blackbirds, one landing on a palladium leaf crescent moon and the other perched on a stylized branch. The design includes a banner with chiselled date and peirced star. The weathervane has both palladium and gold leaf applied to details, including the beak and eyes of the blackbirds, the cardinal letters (N E S & W). the date, the stars, the moon and details of the arrow. The rest of the weathervane is painted black, with only the branch left exposed copper, brass and bronze.
