Pictured above is a custom repousse copper weathercock with peirced tail pattern. Originally created to mount on a telegraph pole, the weathervane was coceived with a 3ft. copper spire. For aesthetic proportion, in this case, the cardinal arms have a reduced shaft & the weathervane has a extended main shaft. The silhouette was inspired by a weathervane in Lakenheath (Suffolk), with the peircings based on a tradtional weathercock in York.
