The artists debut 5 new designs each year. These designs are outside of their commission work and tend to be more exploratory.

For the most part, new designs are large, ornate, one-off weathervanes.

New work is usually relevant to a "line of study". This can be as simple as trying a new material, technique or theme.

Inspiration is taken from art nouveau, childrens' book illustration & folk art. As always the focus is on capturing a sense of movement and the weathervane as a sculptural form.

Many of these designs have featured in press articles and travel to shows & exhibitions. Notations have been made where relevant.
